Vibrant Green Coriander Chutney Recipe

Fresh green coriander chutney with spinach, yogurt, and roasted chana dal—tangy, spicy, and vibrant. Perfect no-cook dip for samosas, pakoras, chaat, and sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • cups coriander leaves
  • 4 spinach leaves
  • 3 whole green chilies
  • 1 inch ginger piece
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp roasted chana dal
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ice cubes handful
  • water as needed

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients—coriander leaves, spinach leaves, green chilies, ginger, garlic cloves, roasted chana dal, cumin powder, salt, yogurt, lemon juice, a handful of ice cubes, and a little water—to a blender jar.
  • Blend everything until smooth, adding more water as needed to reach your preferred chutney consistency.
  • Transfer the vibrant green chutney to a serving bowl and serve fresh with samosas, pakoras, chaat, sandwiches, or as a side for any Indian snack.
