Total Time 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 140 grams butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • milk (as needed)

Instructions

Prepare for Baking

  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper and grease it lightly with butter to prevent sticking.
  • Preheat your oven to 355°F (180°C).

Melt Chocolate and Butter

  • Finely chop 200 grams dark chocolate and place it in a heatproof bowl.
  • In a small pan, melt 140 grams butter over low heat. Pour the melted butter over the chopped chocolate and stir until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • To the melted chocolate mixture, add 1 cup sugar, ¼ cup yogurt, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Stir well until everything is combined and smooth.

Sift Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, sift together 1½ cups all-purpose flour, ¾ cup cocoa powder, ½ tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp baking soda, and ¼ tsp salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently to avoid overmixing.
  • Add milk as needed, a little at a time, to achieve a thick but pourable batter consistency. The batter should be smooth and easy to spread.

Pour and Bake

  • Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Cool and Serve

  • Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool completely in the pan before slicing. Serve as is or pair with your favorite ice cream, syrup, or fresh fruits for an extra treat!
  • These eggless brownies are rich, fudgy, and perfect for any occasion—whether you’re hosting guests or indulging in a quiet dessert moment at home!
